Hazelnut Torte

CAKE

6 large eggs					250g white sugar
3 tbsp plain flour				juice and rind or large orange
250g nuts (mixed unblanched, if you prefer)	1/3 tspn baking powder

Put the nuts through the blender. Separate the eggs.

Butter and flour a large springform cake tin, and preheat the oven to 180°C.

Mix egg yolks, sugar, orange juice and rind, nuts, flour and baking powder.

Beat the egg whites until still, and fold into the nut mixture

Bake 3/4 hour, then remove from the oven and leave to cool before removing from the tin.

FROSTING

1 slab energy chocolate		1 slab milk chocolate
2/3 small carton cream

Melt the chocolate pieces in a double boiler, then place the saucepan of melted chocolate directly on medium heat, add cream, and stir constantly until the mixture starts to boil.

Remove from the heat, cool, and spread over the cake.
