Berry sauce

2 litres berries			1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons blackberry liqueur	5 tablespoons sugar
In a large saucepan combine all the ingredients and cook over low heat, stirring often, until the sugar has disolved annd the sauce begins to thicken, about 20 minutes. If required, for example with wild blackberries, put through a fine sieve and discard the pulp.
